The 25th IGC Fund is open in IGC years to practicing geoscientists resident in Australia or New Zealand who hold a degree in geosciences and who have been chosen to present at the IGC. Those eligible to receive grants under the scheme should generally be PhD, Masters or honours student or within 10 years of receiving a PhD.

Further travel fund opportunities exist through the 34th IGC Fund, which is open year-round to support young Australian and New Zealand geoscientists undertake international travel for fieldwork or conference (non-IGC) attendance. The 34th IGC fund is awarded by the Academy in partnership with the Australian Geoscience Council. More information is available here.
